Renewable Energy Chair Projects showcased at the international ENERH2O fair

On September 24 and 25, 2025, the Renewable Energy Chair of the University of Évora (CER-UÉ) will be present at the 3rd edition of ENERH2O – Energy & Water Innovation & Technology Trade Show, held at Exponor, Porto.

This is one of the leading professional events dedicated to innovation in the fields of energy and water management. The event brings together companies, institutions, researchers, and startups to discuss technological solutions and present projects that address the major challenges of energy transition and sustainability.

CER-UÉ will participate with the Twinning projects, SALTOpower and Sol2H2O, both under the Horizon Europe framework. The Twinning projects will play a prominent role in one of the event’s conferences, entitled: “Presentation of the European projects Sol2H2O and SALTOpower: Technology, research, and value chain.” These projects stand as examples of how science and technology can support business competitiveness and contribute to a more sustainable energy matrix.

ENERH2O will also feature a conference promoted by the Alliance for Energy Transition (ATE), bringing together experts to discuss the paths of Portugal’s energy transition. One of the invited speakers will be Dr. Pedro Horta, coordinator of the SOL4R unit.

With a diverse program, ENERH2O positions itself as a privileged meeting point between academia, industry, and public entities, fostering networking, knowledge transfer, and strategic partnerships. The participation of CER-UÉ and its projects highlights the role of scientific research in developing innovative solutions to the energy and environmental challenges that shape both the present and the future.
