Webinar "Design of an Innovative Parabolic Trough Collector – The MSA-Trough Concept"

On September 17th, the "first major dissemination event" of the MSA-Trough project took place. With the theme "Design of an Innovative Parabolic Trough Collector – The MSA-Trough Concept," the webinar gathered around 50 participants.

The project coordinator, Diogo Canavarro, a researcher at the Chair of Renewable Energies at the University of Évora, explained that the session allowed attendees to "gain insight into the project's structure (objectives, ambition, partners, timeline, work packages, etc.), as well as the innovative technical specifications of the parabolic collector to be implemented at the EMSP (Évora Molten Salt Platform) in Évora."

Diogo Canavarro emphasized that it was "a true success," considering the large audience and the good "dynamic established between participants and speakers through an interactive Q&A session."

He concluded by stating that "this result is even more remarkable, considering that the project is still in its early stages (end of the first year) and, therefore, there are no experimental developments visible to the general public yet. I am confident that future interactions will be even more fruitful and that the project will receive excellent public reception."
