José Silva, Researcher at the Renewable Energies Chair at the University of Évora, participated in the panel "Developing Distributed Power Generation through Photovoltaics" at the Lisbon Energy Summit.
The Lisbon Energy Summit, held from May 27 to 29, brought together energy sector experts to discuss the future of power generation.
During the event, José Silva, Researcher at Renewable Energies Chair at University of Évora, participated in the panel "Developing Distributed Power Generation through Photovoltaics," where the most promising technological innovations to increase the stability and reliability of the power grid in the context of decentralized photovoltaic production were discussed.
José Silva mentioned that participating in the event allowed him to "establish and renew contacts with a large number of energy sector actors, both nationally and internationally."
Furthermore, according to the researcher, "attending the event helped to increase the visibility of the Chair of Renewable Energies at the University of Évora and the projects under development, highlighting areas such as agrivoltaics, floating photovoltaics, and electrochemical storage."
The Lisbon Energy Summit is a vital platform for knowledge exchange and for promoting innovations that drive the energy transition.
