Collares-Pereira donates publications and monographs to the University of Évora

Manuel Collares-Pereira, former Holder of the Renewable Energies Chair - University of Évora (CER-UÉ, Portuguese acronym) and former coordinating researcher and professor at this university, donated his collection of publications and monographs to the Library of the University of Évora.

This collection, collected throughout his research career, focuses on publications around renewable energies, with a particular focus on the solar energy sector, and is now available at the Polo da Mitra of the University of Évora Library, Edifício Ário Lobo de Azevedo, at Herdade da Mitra, in Valverde.

Master and PhD in Physics, University of Chicago, and electrical engineer, Instituto Superior Técnico, Manuel Collares-Pereira was the RE Chair Holder between 2010 and 2019, and professor at the University of Évora, Nova University of Lisbon, and Instituto Superior Técnico, and principal investigator and coordinator in the Department of Renewable Energies, National Laboratory of Engineering and Industrial Technology (LNETI), National Institute of Engineering, Technology and Innovation (INETI) and National Laboratory of Energy and Geology (LNEG). He is also author of several books, such as “Renewable Energies, the unavoidable option” or the most recent “Jeremias and Sustainable Development”.
