Consortium Meeting
EERES4WATER addresses intellectual property rights

The EERES4WATER project organizes a Seminar on Intellectual Property Rights, on March 23, presented by University College Cork (UCC) researchers, and aimed at early career researchers.

This seminar will present relevant information about producing publishable scientific papers and its interaction with patent requests, and is part of the 24-month Consortium Meeting of the project, which takes place between 22 and 23 March.

During these two days, the project members present and review the results in the different areas and working groups. Maria Helena Novais, from the Renewable Energies Chair - University of Évora (CER-UÉ), reviews the results of Group 5: “Technical developments for improved direct renewable energy sources use in the water cycle”. In other areas of work, the highlighted themes are "Improving the institutional environment of the Water-Energy Nexus in the Atlantic area", presented by ENERAREA - Regional Agency for Energy and Interior Environment, and "Technical developments for improved energy-efficiency solutions for the water cycle”, by the University of Seville.

EERES4WATER is a project financed by the INTERREG Atlantic Area programme, through the European Regional Development Fund, which aims to optimize and manage the water cycle in the Atlantic region. It is coordinated by the Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA) and includes 10 more organizations: University of Seville, CIEMAT-PSA, Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias, and Brinergy Tech (Spain), University College Cork - MaREI and Resolute Marine (Ireland), ENERAREA and University of Évora (Portugal), Cardiff University (United Kingdom) and Campus ESPRIT Industries (France).
