GRECO project
Responsible Research and Innovation Workshop at the University of Évora

The Renewable Energies Chair - University of Évora (CER-UÉ) will hold the GRECO Workshop on Research and Responsible Innovation (RRI), on November 19, 2020, on an online platform.

This initiative, which is part of the GRECO - Fostering a Next Generation of European Photovoltaic Society through Open Science project (H2020 nº 787289), is aimed at researchers and scientists in any area of knowledge or career stage, and intends to equip participants with an overview and tools to make their research activities more responsible.

One of the requirements of the next Horizon Programme (2021-2027) is the application of Research and Responsible Innovation (RRI) methodologies in all research projects. The GRECO project, which adopted this methodology in the field of photovoltaic energy to bring its research results in line with society's values, expectations and needs, will be used as a starting point for training.

Participants will learn to implement RRI methodologies in their research and innovation processes, from practical and debate-oriented training, promoted by international experts, based on cases resulting from the trainees' research experience and examples from the GRECO project.

The training session, which will be taught in English, will last for three hours, between 2 pm and 5:30 pm, and will take place online.

Participation in this course is free.

Registrations will run until November 15, 2020. After registration, you will be contacted via email, with the information to access the online platform where the workshop will take place.
