POCITYF at the Sustainable Built Heritage Conference

The POCITYF (POsitive Energy CITY Transformation Framework) project will present the paper “Stakeholders’ perspectives on energy related Smart City technologies: POCITYF’s standpoint” at the Sustainable Built Heritage Conference, on April 15.

Retrofitting historical buildings can be an opportunity to reduce carbon emissions, but it is also a challenge, because the standard energy saving measures are not often viable in such buildings with unique historic and aesthetic traits.

The SBE21 Heritage Conference will take place online, from April 14 to 16, 2021, and brings together scholars and practitioners working in the fields of energy efficiency and historic building conservation to foster multidisciplinary dialogues.

POCITYF is a smart cities project, with EU funding, through the Horizon 2020 program, with the grant 864400, which includes the participation of the Renewable Energies Chair at University of Évora in a network of partners that includes 46 institutions from 13 countries.
