The Battery Summit 2021, which takes place online, on March 22 and 23, aims to debate the future of energy storage, within the scope of the objectives set by the European Union for Circular Economy and carbon neutrality until 2050.
This event is organized by the INL - International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, and wants to invite participants to analyze and discuss how batteries placed on the EU market can become sustainable, high performance and safe throughout the life cycle, fulfilling with the guidelines of the European Green Deal, in a greener Europe, but also competitive.
The Battery Summit will feature speakers such as the Vice-President of the European Commission, Maroš Šefčovič, the European Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms, Elisa Ferreira, and the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor, and will have a special focus on the Iberian landscape in the area of energy storage.
