GRECO International Workshop: Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI)

The International Workshop on Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) of the GRECO - Fostering a Next Generation of European Photovoltaic Society through Open Science - will take place on March 3, 2021 (14h00-17h30 CET), in online format. 

Organized by the Renewable Energies Chair - University of Évora (CER-UÉ, Portuguese acronym) and the Science, Communication and Society Studies Center - Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), integrated within the GRECO project, this workshop is designed for the debate and is aimed at researchers and scientists from any area of ​​knowledge and career stage, and intends to familiarize and equip participants with a global vision and tools to make their research activities more responsible.

It will be exemplified as a research project, financed by the European Commission, in the field of photovoltaic energy, adopted this methodology to bring its research results in line with society's values, expectations and needs.

Participants will learn to implement RRI methodologies in their research and innovation processes, based on practical training promoted by international specialists, based on cases resulting from the trainees' research experience and examples from the GRECO project.
